Over two days at Hay Festival, we worked with groups of young creatives to reanimate, reimagine and remix a classic Betty Boop cartoon from the 1930s. During the workshop participants learnt about the origins of early animation and experimented with techniques pioneered by animator Max Fleischer. Our young animators remixed each frame to produce new moving image artwork in this fun, hands-on collaborative art project.
