We had a fantastic weekend in the Scribblers Hut at Hay Festival 2017 delivering our collaborative visual arts project – Animation Time Machine.
We worked with over 120 young people aged 8 – 16 to collaboratively reanimate an archive short film using collage and stop frame animation. The individual frames of the film were printed out onto recycled paper, then collaged and coloured before being captured back into the computer.
Hay Festival is one of the worlds’ leading art and literature festivals, bringing readers and writers together to share stories and ideas in events live and online. The festivals inspire, examine and entertain globally, inviting participants to imagine the world as it is and as it might be.
